Kansas City Photorapher | Cakes & Stuff

Alissa and I make a really good team in the kitchen.  Where as I enjoy cooking, she enjoys baking.  Our house smells like fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies all the time.  A great smell to come home too but never good for my diet!  Last night she started baking this cake for a baby-shower.  When I got home from the office today, it was finished.  It looked like a great picture so I thought to share.

She’s a crafty woman, that’s for sure.  Thinking back, she made our wedding invitations.  I will see if she still has one and take a photo of it.   Here’s another cake she did for a shower a week earlier.  Aside from the ribbon around the bottom it’s entirely edible.  Cake, marshmallow fondant, and home-made rice crispy treats.

And the last one, of our wedding invitation.

Mark Elkins - That first cake looks soooo tasty. Gotta love the 50mm 1.4 :)
