Saturday afternoon I met with Julia and her Mom to do Julia’s senior photos. Julia is a senior at Saint Pius High School, and let me tell you, she is just full of laughs! We had alot of fun and visited a few places in Leavenworth and Shawnee, KS. We also stopped at the West Bottoms, one of my favorite places to shoot if I have someone wanting an urban backdrop. The afternoon was just perfect and we weren’t the only ones taking advantage of the beautiful day to have some family photography done.
I usually make a habit of checking the ground before I ask anyone to sit, you know, to make sure it’s not wet or to check for any foreign objects. Saturday was no different and I’m glad I did it! I ended up sticking my hand in a cold heap of animal feces hidden nicely under a couple of leaves. I’m thankful that Alissa keeps hand sanitizer in our vehicle! Funny and I’m sure Julia will never forget it.
