Having spent the last two months on the EC I was ready to come home to spend the entire holiday season with my wife and daughter. Last Friday afternoon I left Maryland and made the 18 hour drive along I-70 back to Kansas City. Before I could step out of the car, my lovely wife and daughter were there to greet me with hugs and kisses. Once inside I had some of the best tasting pumpkin bread and apple cider. Fall is by far my favorite season.

On Sunday morning we went to a local park to take Genevieve’s 9 month photos. I was impressed with Gen’s progress since I’ve been gone. Crawling and pulling herself up into a standing position all on her own. We had a good 45 minutes of picture taking before the cold and hunger got the best of Gen and we decided to stop. Between Alissa and I, we found quite a few that we are going to use for Gen’s 9 month announcements. Here are a couple that I really liked.

I wasn’t sure what to do with this photo, I wasn’t extremely happy with the results but I wanted to blog it. I plan to retake this shot this winter when I’ve found a better location to capture the Baltimore skyline. This was taken from Federal Hill, looking over the Inner Harbor. Baltimore reminds me of a larger Portland, ME.
