Today was one of those late fall days that lets you know that winter is just around the corner. Alissa had to work today so Gen and I just stayed home and hung out together. During her naps (shes a wonderful napper) I was able to put together a storyboard from my most recent senior shoot with Julia. For those of you who aren’t familiar with what a storyboard is, I’ll show you!

10 x 20 Storyboard
My storyboards come as a 10×20 print which is then professionally mounted on a 2mm styrene backing and finished with a lustre protective coating. While these are ready to display in that form, you should check out my framing options. I’ve been searching for a framing company that compliments my photography and I’ve finally found it. It’s one of those frames you see and say, “where did you find that!” So many yummy colors and options to choose from that will compliment your photos and your home decor. I just ordered one today and it’s on the way. It might make it just before Christmas so stay tuned for more info.
Christmas Cards! Have you done them yet? Alissa and I just placed an order for 60 press printed Christmas cards on Pearl cardstock. A friend of mine had such great things to say about the pearl paper that I went ahead and spent a few extra dollars. They weren’t cheap but then again anything that’s really nice, isn’t.

All this talk about Christmas is making me think of winter and how much I look forward to the spring. It never comes fast enough, which is why we have… winter vacations…! Alissa and I are headed to the Island of Moorea of the Society Islands this April. Eight days, far away from everything else, we can’t wait. It’s going to be hard to take a bad picture there.
